It’s not often you see a five-piece band bubble up out of the LA underground these days, but Slow Hollows’ mix of double guitars and keyboards lends a dream-punk element to the band’s indie feel. The group has stayed relatively low key since 2016’s Romantic, released on Danger Collective, but a recent swell of new tunes has us buzzing about a forthcoming full-length, which the band has said is coming soon.
The first, “Get Along,” was released in May, and the latest, “Come Back In,” dropped just recently. The video for “Get Along” is split in two halves, with one side showing Anderson performing the song in a strobe-lit living room, and the other depicting random clips of the artist going about his day. The video is directed by BROCKHAMPTON front man Kevin Abstract, who also directed Slow Hollows’ 2018 track “Lessons For Later.”
